The diving is fantastic all year around here in the Komodo National park with over 50 dive sites to choose from! Due to the fact that our Komodo Beach Resort is situated in the very middle of all the dive sites, it means that our guests can enjoy all dive areas on the North, South and Central Komodo. Plus due to our location the boat trips to the dive sites are much shorter, which means more time to dive!!
We have written some dive site descriptions for you but there are many, many more than this so if there is a particular site you have heard about that you would like to visit just let us know on arrival and we will do our best to get you there. We of course want to take you to all the top dive sites but there are so many more amazing sites that are as yet undiscovered in the park as the area is so vast so we often do exploratory dives for those who are interested.
By staying with Scuba Junkie you get the experience of waking up in the national park as if you are on a live a board boat yet you get all the benefits of having a comfortable private room in our beautiful resort with a restaurant and beach bar!
We leave at 7:00 a.m so that we can be one of the first dive companies on the dive sites and have our breakfast on the boat on the way. We offer 3 dives a day with a break of one hour between dive 1 and 2 and 1 & 1/2 hour break for lunch. Normally we return to the resort between 4:00 to 4:30 pm.
Our custom made dive boat makes your day trip a real pleasure. Soak up the rays on the sun deck or relax and enjoy the view in the shade downstairs. All our Dive boats are equipped with emergency 100% oygen, first aid kit, life jackets, fire extinguisher, GPS and communication devices as standard together with an experienced and reliable crew so you can rest assured Scuba Junkie Komodo will take good care of you.
